At the Triad Pottery Festival people kept asking what my metallic glaze was, and it was just the salt! Well, and the clay body. Michael, you may be in luck if you're interesting in helping build a kiln! The 'crazy' glaze looks nice too, but I guess it is like a weed (anything growing in the wrong place): if you can't reproduce it or don't intend it, it isn't a desirable outcome.
