I really like the dark, glossy color of these pieces: it makes them look very rich and luxurious. The 'crazy' glaze looks nice too, but I guess it is like a weed (anything growing in the wrong place): if you can't reproduce it or don't intend it, it isn't a desirable outcome. Anyway, these are very beautiful and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I love that salt. Makes me want to build another kiln. Not yet, though. We're firing Tuesday.
Thanks for the comments! Knock on wood, I have not had anything disastrous come out of Joseph's kiln (yet). At the Triad Pottery Festival people kept asking what my metallic glaze was, and it was just the salt! Well, and the clay body. Michael, you may be in luck if you're interesting in helping build a kiln! I'm scheming for one this fall, I'll keep you posted if you're interested.
